Our Team

We believe in practicing medicine “the right way” and as a team we are passionate about providing good care. We all assist and help each other on a daily basis and are used to fostering an environment of learning, as we are a UBC teaching clinic. We love being able to give back to the community by providing primary care to our patients in New Westminster. Care4You has a tight knit team that promotes collaboration and an open atmosphere where physicians are supported. Moreover, we have a strong team of MOA’s as well as a primary care nurse to support the practice. Our physician and nurse practitioner team at Care4You have a wide variety of medical interests including residential care, maternity, surgical assists, mental health, addictions care, and more.

An excellent addition and our newest colleague, she will be working together with Dr. Petropolis in a ‘practice share’.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Sovka is a wife and busy mom to 3 lovely children. You can often see her at playgrounds, on bike rides, playing board games, or baking in the kitchen.

Dr. Nick Petropolis studied at Dalhousie University in Halifax for both his medical degree and Family Medicine Residency.

Dr. Petropolis is passionate about doing Family Medicine “the right way,” by listening to his patient's ideas, fears and expectations, and always being that “go-to” person his patients can rely on and trust. Having a strong bond with his patients is what makes his job so rewarding every single day. He especially enjoys helping the elderly navigate the oftentimes confusing healthcare world we live in, and ensuring that their final years are as comfortable as possible.
